Qualcomm says SpaceX deal is its largest 5G pact for Starlink Mobile

Qualcomm said SpaceX has selected its Dragonwing cellular infrastructure platform to support Starlink Mobile’s nationwide 5G ground network in the United States, ITHome reported. SpaceX plans to deploy tens of thousands of base stations over a multi-year partnership, with nationwide U.S. rollout expected to begin in 2027, and Qualcomm called the contract its largest 5G deal to date even though it did not disclose the value.
