Cat Wu leaves Anthropic for OpenAI Core Products role

Today Cat Wu said on X that she is joining OpenAI to lead product management for Core Products. Wu, who previously worked on Claude Code at Anthropic, wrote that she respects OpenAI for showing that scaling works, for bringing AI to over a billion people, and for treating great products as core to its mission. She said she will work with Tibo Sottiaux and OpenAI's product team to build agents that support users and teams while keeping people in control. OpenAI president Greg Brockman also said on X that he welcomed Wu to the team. [1] [2]
