China launches national platform for consumer-assurance pledges

Briefing by News4U · First published

China's State Administration for Market Regulation launched a national platform for businesses making consumer-assurance pledges, ITHome reported. Businesses can register and publish commitments after checks, receiving a store-specific code and a unified mark. The initial integrations include Baidu Maps, Meituan Waimai, Taobao Instant Commerce and JD Waimai. Baidu Maps labels more than 10,000 participating businesses and clusters, while the delivery platforms initially mark about 3,000 restaurants. Consumers can use these labels to find nearby participating businesses and read their commitments. [1]
