Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky has given the country's highest award for women to U.S. First Lady Melania Trump, the BBC reported. The Order of Princess Olga, First Class, was conferred for her "significant personal contribution to humanitarian support for Ukraine," according to a presidential decree, after a ceasefire in Kherson region allowed the evacuation of several hundred people from Russian-occupied Oleshky. The White House said Melania Trump had independently initiated engagement between the two warring nations and secured the ceasefire. Russian and Ukrainian delegations, including ombudsmen and senior officials, are due to meet her at the White House on Thursday. [1]
