Reddit plans login requirement tests outside the US
Briefing by News4U · First published
Reddit plans to test a requirement for users to log in in selected markets outside the United States in the coming months, The Verge reported, citing CEO Steve Huffman. There is no definitive timetable for rolling the change out to all users, and how the site would work for logged-out visitors remains unclear. Huffman says the shift would improve the user experience, support more relevant advertising and better protect Reddit data. [1]
