Chainalysis reports cybersecurity incident; says no probe data or credentials accessed

Blockchain analytics company Chainalysis said on Friday it was targeted in a cybersecurity incident similar to those recently suffered by other platforms. In a blog post cited by Cointelegraph, Chainalysis said that based on the investigation to date it found no evidence of unauthorized access to investigation content, authentication credentials or session tokens, while some non-sensitive customer data was exposed. The firm said it had engaged third-party cybersecurity experts and was using large language models to review security and strengthen defenses, and added that the incident was not related to the recent crypto theft at Binance.
