Seoul stocks sank for a second straight session on Friday amid fears a Democratic Congress could decelerate AI data-center construction, Yonhap reported. The Kospi closed down 324.11 points, or 6.02 percent, at 5,059.69 after plunging over 8 percent at the open and triggering a 20-minute trading halt. Daishin Securities analyst Lee Kyoung-min said concerns that U.S. Congress could further tighten AI data-center rules drove the plunge across the AI value chain. [1]
