Zelenskyy backs SBU asset-declaration bill amid scandal firings
Briefing by News4U · First published
Today Volodymyr Zelenskyy said on X that this week brought openly unpleasant, shameful and unacceptable news about Ukraine’s Security Service (SBU), that firings have already occurred and further personnel decisions will follow, and that investigations must punish those who ordered crimes and violence. He said partner support is needed on the so-called “Khimprom” matter, already raised with the United States, and that the same criminal has begun operations in Poland and is trying to move synthetic drugs into Germany. He said he approved a draft law restoring asset declarations for all SBU employees and asked parliament to pass it urgently. [1]
