Briefing by News4U · First published

BMW announced on Monday that it plans to extend its L2 driver-assistance system to urban roads from 2027, starting in Germany, ITHome reported. The company said the system had passed on-road tests by a third-party technical organisation and that it expected final regulatory approval in early 2027. Drivers must remain attentive while the navigation-guided system assists with turns, lane changes, right-of-way decisions and roundabouts. [1]
