Cointelegraph reports that 72% in an Ipsos survey valued support for US-built fintech, while 13% placed high importance on encouraging blockchain, crypto and DeFi.
Ipsos released a survey on Tuesday conducted with the DeFi Education Fund, Cointelegraph reported. The September poll covered 1,545 people. It found 72% considered it at least somewhat important for politicians to support policies encouraging financial technology built in the United States. [1]
By contrast, 13% said encouraging growth in blockchain, crypto and DeFi was very or extremely important for a candidate. The questions use different importance thresholds, so these figures are not directly equivalent measures. The results concern stated policy priorities, not a prediction of election outcomes. [1]
