Briefing by News4U · First published
Today Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on X that the Israeli public does not want a government that depends on Ra'am and the Joint List — parties he said support terrorism and deny the existence of the Jewish state. He wrote that from day one his hand was outstretched to form a broad national government, that a clear majority of the Jewish public chose Likud as the largest party and him as prime minister to lead the next government, and that he aims to form a broad government with partners and any party that does not support terrorism, adding he is open to talks.
