Apple Intelligence to launch in China with Alibaba’s Qwen from Nov. 4
Briefing by News4U · First published
Apple announced that the first Apple Intelligence features are coming to China in partnership with Alibaba, letting users call Qwen from Siri, writing tools and visual intelligence for text and image understanding. ITHome reported the features will open for testing with the latest iOS developer beta from Nov. 4 and ship to Chinese users with iOS 27.3 in December, with other platforms following after required approvals. Users can sign in with a Qwen account or Sign in with Apple to access Qwen inside the system without a separate app; early tools include live translation in Messages, FaceTime and Phone, writing aids, visual intelligence and photo cleanup.
