ITHome finds UnionPay and Alipay payment options for Grok subscriptions
Briefing by News4U · First published
Grok's subscription page now offers UnionPay and Alipay payments, ITHome reported after checking user reports. The outlet also found region choices for mainland China, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan. It said Apple Pay and Google Pay were additional payment options. ITHome reported a user's claim of a first-month discount for an initial Alipay subscription, but said it had found no xAI official announcement covering the payment methods, region choices or promotions. The findings describe the subscription page; the report did not give a rollout date. [1]
