China's new-energy passenger-car manufacturers are estimated to have sold 1.8 million vehicles wholesale in October 2026, up 12% from a year earlier and 8% from September, ITHome reported, citing the passenger-car association. The projection draws on preliminary sales figures from leading manufacturers and the market's September sales structure. BYD, Geely, Chery, Changan and Leapmotor were the leading manufacturers in October.
