Six people were killed and 16 wounded after a gunman opened fire in Kraków’s busy main market square on Saturday, Polish authorities said, in what defence minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz called an "act of terror." The suspect, a 25-year-old Polish citizen, opened fire with an automatic weapon at about 3pm; police said four women and two men were killed, including a British citizen. Prime Minister Donald Tusk said two more women and one man were later found dead at the suspect’s home, most likely family members. Interior minister Marcin Kierwiński said the gunman held "very radical" and "ultra-nationalistic" views. [1] [2]
