Briefing by News4U · First published
Today Donald Trump said, in remarks shared by the White House on X, that he is sure Texas’s new Democratic governor will want security of the Texas southern border and continue his policy, after being asked how the border would be reinforced if Democrats remove state manpower from border defense. He said people on television two days ago described conditions as like living in heaven compared with hell when Biden was there, adding, “I’m sure they’ll continue my policy and if they don’t continue my policy, I will.” [1]
