Tencent reportedly prepares consumer-facing AI search engine
Briefing by News4U · First published
Tencent is preparing a consumer-facing AI search engine, ITHome reported, citing a new report by Huxiu. The planned service would combine AI answers and web search in a minimalist interface and give greater prominence to authoritative sources. A person described as a Tencent insider said it would share core technology with search inside the Yuanbao app and Tencent Cloud's Yuanbao Search API. ITHome also cited Sina Technology as saying Tencent had not responded to the report. [1]
