Hanson denies responsibility for One Nation Bluey knifepoint colouring book

Briefing by News4U · First published

One Nation senator Pauline Hanson denied responsibility for a party colouring book showing children’s character Bluey held at knifepoint, saying any authorisation was a matter for the party executive, The Guardian reported.

Pauline Hanson has denied responsibility for a One Nation colouring book depicting Bluey held at knifepoint that carried an authorisation from the party leader, The Guardian reported on Wednesday. [1]

Asked about the book, Hanson initially said “I’m not discussing that,” then said any link to her authorisation “will be to do with the party and with the executive.” She also said she was “not here to talk about the cartoons at the moment,” pointing instead to inflation. [1]

ABC managing director Hugh Marks has urged One Nation to remove Bluey references and said the broadcaster was considering legal options. One Nation wrote on X that Marks “cannot hide his contempt for One Nation and its voters.” [1]
