Chery executive says Luxeed should operate more like an EV startup

Chery executive vice-president Qi Shilong said he wants the Luxeed team to operate more like an electric-vehicle startup, rather than a larger version of a traditional carmaker, ITHome reported, citing Sina Technology’s coverage of a media briefing. He said Chery would strengthen Luxeed’s independent operations through changes to organisational scale, higher-end products and gradual brand improvements. The report also said Luxeed would introduce new products next year, while overseas business would continue to be operated independently by Chery Group. [1]
