Macron says localized ceasefire not enough after Dnipro strike

Today Emmanuel Macron said on X that a Russian jet-powered drone had just struck the Dnipro train station with a very heavy toll, and he offered condolences and solidarity to President Zelenskyy and the Ukrainian people. He said Europe must aspire to far more than a localized ceasefire like the one just negotiated in Olechky, calling it intolerable that Russia keeps rejecting such proposals, betting on escalation and targeting civilians, and urging a joint push for a just and lasting peace that brings Russia back to the negotiating table.
