Briefing by News4U · First published
Google confirmed that Wear OS 8 will introduce a system status bar, ITHome reported, citing a post on the Android Developers blog. The bar will display the time at the top of apps alongside an icon reflecting system state or sensor use. Examples described in the report include airplane mode, Do Not Disturb, microphone access and location services. Only one status icon will appear at a time, with the system deciding what to show according to priority. [1]
