Focus Taiwan reports that Taiwan's stock market fell to seventh place globally in market capitalization at US$4.36 trillion after the Taiex plunged 1,873.08 points, or 4.51 percent, to close at 39,701.64 on Friday, with the total market capitalization of the local main board falling by NT$17.94 trillion to NT$130.84 trillion for the week amid concerns over possible restrictions on AI data center development.
