ITHome reported that on October 22 at about 2:35 a.m., a 71-year-old Vallejo resident, Domingo Gonzales, was struck and killed by a Tesla traveling about 70 mph (113 km/h) on westbound I-80 near the I-780 interchange; the 26-year-old San Francisco driver said FSD was engaged, the car braked and steered left but still hit the pedestrian who had entered from the right shoulder, and the man was then struck by at least one other vehicle whose driver has not been identified.
