Huaneng Hydropower to acquire HNYL for 8.701 billion yuan

Sina Finance reported that Huaneng Hydropower will pay 8.701 billion yuan to buy HNYL from its parent, adding 1.5414 million kW of operating capacity.
Sina Finance reported that Huaneng Hydropower (600025) announced on the evening of October 25 that it plans to acquire 100% equity of HNYL from its controlling shareholder Huaneng Group for 8.701 billion yuan through a non-public agreement transfer. [1]
HNYL is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Huaneng Group engaged in hydropower, wind power and photovoltaic projects in southwest China. As of May 31, 2026, its operating capacity totaled 1.5414 million kW, including 870,000 kW of hydropower and 671,400 kW of renewable energy. [1]
