Intel, IBM, Oracle, IonQ, JPMorgan Chase, Coca-Cola and Dell are among 33 companies that have filed objections to having their US stocks listed in tokenized form on the OKX-ICE exchange proposed by OKX and Intercontinental Exchange, the parent of the New York Stock Exchange. [1] [2]
The objections represent nearly half of the 62 companies originally proposed for the platform, which would operate under the SEC’s five-year Innovation Exemption allowing tokenized trading of National Market System stocks. [1] [2]
OKXICE co-chair Andrew Cuomo described the opt-outs as a “very natural response” and said more companies are expected to object. [1] [2]
