ASML ties executive pay to employee satisfaction after restructuring
Briefing by News4U · First published
ASML will include a new work-experience index in long-term executive pay to address a drop in employee engagement following its reorganization.
ITHome reports that ASML CEO Christophe Fouquet will link his own compensation to employee morale targets after an internal survey showed the engagement index falling from 78% last year to 73.5% this year among more than 38,000 respondents. [1]
The company is adding a six-question “work-experience index” to its long-term incentive plan for the management board; the index covers psychological safety, trust in leadership, role clarity, team efficiency, organizational fit and manager care. [1]
ASML is continuing its reorganization aimed at flattening management layers and has said the number of job cuts will be lower than the 1,700 positions initially announced in January. [1]
