Trump says US will end nearly $4 billion annual Israel military aid by year-end
Briefing by News4U · First published
President Donald Trump said the United States will end nearly $4 billion in annual military aid to Israel by the end of the year, citing an agreement with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, while still allowing Israel to buy US weapons. The move drew criticism from Israeli opposition leader Gadi Eisenkot, who called for Netanyahu's removal. Trump linked the decision to countering Democratic criticism during US midterm elections.
