ITHome reported that China Telecom Research Institute, Yangtze Optical Fibre and Cable (YOFC) and ZTE completed the world’s first 1,007.48 km hollow-core fiber bidirectional real-time transmission, achieving 800 Gb/s per wavelength and 128 Tb/s total capacity on an extended C+L band link. [1]
