Yemeni government forces advance on Huwaishan heights in al-Jawf
Briefing by News4U · First published
Al Jazeera reports that Yemeni government forces seized complete control of the Huwaishan mountain range east of al-Hazm and gained partial control of the Al-Alam front road as part of Operation Dawn of Yemen, launched last month to reverse Houthi territorial gains. Field Commander Colonel Rabie Al-Qurashi said the advance disrupts Houthi supply routes, while military spokesman Majed Abdullah Al-Nuzaili stated the operations inflicted losses on Houthi capabilities. The Houthis claim they thwarted the advances. [1]
