ITHome reports Meta suspended the Muse sharing feature after researchers found over 6800 exposed links containing sensitive data.
ITHome reports that Meta has suspended the sharing feature of its AI assistant Muse after researchers at Claroc found more than 6800 publicly indexed share links via passive DNS queries, some containing personal financial records, corporate documents and confidential meeting materials. [1]
Claroc submitted the issue to Meta’s bug bounty program on October 8; Meta paused the feature and said it is reviewing the report. The researchers noted that the exposed domains remain in historical DNS records even after the pause. [1]
