China seeks public comment on AI export-control list

Beijing invites feedback on 23 AI technologies proposed for the export-control catalogue.
On 16 October the Ministry of Commerce and the Ministry of Science and Technology released a draft revision of the Catalogue of Technologies Prohibited or Restricted from Export, which adds 23 artificial-intelligence items covering large models, agents, computing clusters and information processing, Wall Street CN reported.
