Financial Supervisory Service chief Lee Chan-jin said the plan may fall under dual-listing rules and the agency will convey regulatory concerns if needed. Lawmakers Ahn Cheol-soo and Kim Han-kyu urged the firm to reconsider, with Ahn warning the listing would mark “the end of the Korean stock market.” [1]

Analysts note regulators lack direct power to halt the overseas listing, but public scrutiny and possible KRW 1 billion penalties for failing shareholder-protection duties add pressure on SK Hynix. [1]
