Post-debate poll shows Taipei mayoral candidate Shen Boyang at 52.6%

RFI Chinese reported that after the 31 October televised debate between Taipei Mayor Chiang Wan-an and Democratic Progressive Party candidate Shen Boyang, a Taiwan Strategy and Advancement Association poll released on 2 November showed Shen’s support at 52.6% and Chiang’s at 35.3%, a 17.3-point lead; Shen also led in perceived likelihood of winning, 47.9% to 40.1%.
