Oracle cancels $7 billion Tencent chip lease after US pressure

RFI Chinese reported that Oracle cancelled a five-year, $7 billion agreement to lease up to 100,000 advanced AI chips to Tencent for use in Southeast Asian data centres after US officials expressed concern over the deal.
