Briefing by News4U · First published

At the 7th Manned Space Academic Conference held on 31 October at Beihang University, officials announced China plans to land Chinese astronauts on the Moon before 2030 using a “two launches, one landing” profile with two Long March 10 rockets. The first launch will place a lander in lunar orbit; the second will send a crewed spacecraft that docks with the lander. Two of the three-person crew will descend to the surface for scientific activities, then re-dock in orbit before returning to Earth. [1] [2]
