Siemens Healthineers, Alibaba DAMO Academy sign AI CT screening deal

On 6 November at the China International Import Expo in Shanghai, Siemens Healthineers and Alibaba DAMO Academy signed a strategic agreement to integrate DAMO Academy’s self-developed “one-scan multi-screen” AI technology with Siemens imaging equipment and clinical applications, aiming to detect early-stage cancers such as pancreatic, gastric, colorectal, esophageal and liver cancer, as well as aortic dissection and pulmonary embolism, from a single CT scan (ITHome 1).
