Apple's new CEO Ternus faces first earnings test amid rising memory costs

Briefing by News4U · First published

Apple reports fiscal fourth-quarter results Monday, its first earnings release since John Ternus succeeded Tim Cook as CEO in September. Analysts expect revenue to rise nearly 11% to $113.39 billion and net profit to increase about 6% to $29.04 billion. iPhone sales are projected to climb 15% to $56.54 billion, while services revenue is forecast to grow almost 10% to $31.56 billion, the slowest pace in more than three years. The results cover only nine days of iPhone 18 Pro sales; the new foldable iPhone Duo, priced from $1,999, went on sale October 23 and will contribute to the holiday quarter. [1] [2]
